I've never driven in a foreign country before...until now. I was a bit uneasy at first because of the unfamiliarity but enjoyed driving from Zagreb to Split, which was about a four-hour drive. However, the thing I love about driving, which I learned at a very young age going on road trips with my family, is that you can stop anywhere. Todays' stopping point: Zadar.
At first site Zadar looked like absolutely nothing. 10 kilometers in, I was starting to get discouraged that I wouldn't see anything cool...until the 11th kilometer when I saw this...
It was about 85 degrees in Zadar and it surrounded me with water and beauty. I've never been to Venice, but it looked a lot like what I'd imagine. The funniest thing was taking photos of Vader Vacation and seeing the Croatian girls notice and giggle about it. They took a few pictures of the Dark Lord as well.
I also realized this is the first time I've worn a white shirt in about six years, and a while since I've not worn a hoodie. It was too hot to do so though!
It seems like in this trip that I am beginning to know myself more than I ever have. All the conversations I've had recently are converging with real life events. Like Kevin said, let spontaneity and chance take its course. Pull over to Zadar and check it out.
