Built in the open

Everything here runs on this site rather than in a demo sandbox, so it can change or break without warning. Each one started as a question I wanted a working answer to — what a site looks like when it redesigns itself every morning, what a model returns when you ask for types instead of prose, what a house feels like as clay.

Running now

  • Daily themesGenerative design systemA new palette, type pairing, and surface treatment generated every morning, then checked against the layout and contrast rules before it ships. Browse the archive, or switch themes from the palette button in the corner of any page.
  • Jev editorial routerTyped model outputPaste a rough idea and get a typed decision back — Writing, Notes, or Projects — with the full probability distribution, a readiness score, and a check for whether the idea makes a clear claim.
  • Clay dioramaWebGL sceneA soft-clay desert house you can spin, and the Blender-to-GLB pipeline behind the interactive homes on Now.
  • PrototypesEditorial visualsStandalone proof-of-concept visuals built for Proof of Concept essays, starting with the plate tectonics of design leadership.

Retired

  • LabsThe original playground of interactive demos and generative previews. Paused — the page stays up for old links.

Longer write-ups of the thinking behind these live on Proof of Concept.
